Up for sale is a spectacular extra-large 20.5-inch vintage Thanksgiving serving platter manufactured in England by the renowned pottery firm Johnson Brothers. This piece is from the highly collectible "Wild Turkeys - Native American" series, released under their premium Windsor Ware product line. The design features an incredibly detailed brown transferware scene showcasing a wild tom turkey strutting in a forest clearance, accented with beautiful, subtle polychrome hand-painted green and rose-pink color highlights on the feathers and wattle.

The octagonal rim is intensely decorated with an elegant intaglio border depicting alternating panels of nested game pheasants and floral baskets. The reverse bears the authentic, mid-century stamped brown hallmark reading Wild Turkeys, Native American, Windsor Ware, Made in England by Johnson Bros.
