Lovely Vintage 1940's'SHERATON' Set of 10 Matched Cups And 10 Saucers [20 pieces total]. JOHNSON BRO'S Made In England. Cups embossed Made In England on base. Each Piece Has A Colorful Spray Of Flowers In A Regency Style- Lush Roses, Other Flowers With Twirling Stems and Leaves.

Cups have a large rose and leaves INSIDE the cup below the rim- and the design is on both sides of the cup- absolutely gorgeous. Design also goes down cup handle. Flower colors are deep pink/ burgundy, deep yellow /gold, purple/blues, and green. SCALLOPED WAVED RIM Saucer, Cups Have Scalloped Waved OUTER SURFACE. Base color is a very soft cream/ivory color, NOT bright white.

They have a glossy shiny glaze. A great size for either coffee OR tea. These cups have the inner flower, which later produced models do NOT. They also have a hand painted green initial of the artist, which is consistent on all pieces [they are from one lot]. 5.75" saucer plate, cup is 2 3/8" tall and 3.5 across top. Excellent vintage condition, no chips nicks cracks crazing or damage, one cup has a tiny surface flake off glaze [does not extend into china] on rim.

Very minor, difficult to see or even feel. Matched set of 10, all from same lot.

No chips nicks cracks or damage, gold in excellent condition, pattern unfaded. Some gentle crazing throughout glaze normal for vintage age [1930s], does not effect surface of glaze/gloss and is minor. This is a great set for a collector or lover of vintage china, really hard to find a set of 4 in such beautiful condition.

Nice for display of for use. As always, my items are packed with EXTRA bubble wrap and extreme care to insure a safe arrival.
