Vintage Johnson Bros "Mongolia" blue and white transferware bread / side plates. This listing is for a lot of 9 matching plates, all made in England and marked on the underside. Each plate measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and features the classic Mongolia pattern with bird motif, floral details, and geometric border. All plates are in very good vintage condition, with the exception of 2 plates.

One has a smooth glossed white spot that appears to be a manufacturing imperfection. The second plate has a small chip in the back. Light age-related speckling and minor surface wear may be present, consistent with early English transferware. Except as noted above, Rims appear clean with no significant chips. Perfect for use, display, or to complete or expand a Johnson Bros Mongolia pattern set.
