Large RARE Johnson Brothers OLDE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE Soup Tureen Vintage MINT

  

This is a rare, early, patent pending, Johnson Brothers soup tureen in the beautiful hand painted OLDE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE pattern. Made in England in the mid-20th century, this two-piece set features a glossy finish and multicolor pattern.

Measuring approximately 13 inches in length (handle to handle) and around 8 inches in height, this colonial-style soup tureen is perfect for holidays or any festive occasion, and would make a wonderful addition to any MCM china collection. The back stamp is printed with the Johnson Bros Olde English Countryside mark on the bottom of the tureen. This amazing soup tureen is about 60-70 years old and is in superb vintage condition with no chips, cracks or staining - just a tiny hint of crazing due to its age.
