Johnson Brothers Wild Turkeys Native American Windsor Ware 9.75 Vegetable Bowl

  

Made in England, this glossy Johnson Brothers Wild Turkeys Brown Native American oval vegetable (or small serving) bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips and no cracks, but there is very fine crazing throughout (see last photo). Other imperfections include one spot on an outside corner where the pattern shows a bit of fading (see 2nd to last photo), some pin point-sized dots of discoloration on the bowl's ivory base and underside (see 3rd to last photo), and one pen point-sized pock mark on its underside. This scarce Windsor Ware beauty is 9.75. Inches in length, has a width of 7.75 inches and a height of 2.5 inches.

Its underside features the Johnson Bros Windsor Ware backstamp and spur (kiln) marks that are original to the bowl's production, which was likely in the 1950s or 1960s.
