Johnson Brothers Blue Old British Castles Platter 15 Stafford Castle Old Mark

  
Johnson Brothers Old British Castles platter in that wonderful rich blue color. The platter is 15 1/4" across and 12 1/2" up and down. It has that typical scalloped shape.

The border is filled with flowers and leaves and scrolls. The inside of the platter depicts Stafford Castle in 1792. It it the ideal castle with 2 towers. It is surrounded by trees and lush vegetation. There are 2 sheep grazing on the right side.

This platter has the old crown mark. It is in good condition. There are a couple of minor marks from use. They aren't noticeable unless held at certain angles in bright light. Please check out my other listings in this pattern.
