I recently acquired a large set of Johnson Brothers "His Majesty" china. For holiday dinners, set your table to His Majesty.

All of the large set I will be offering by piece is brown transferware with hand-overpainting (called clobbering). 20.25" long x 16" wide.

" His Majesty Made in England by Johnson Bros A Genuine hand engraving all decoration under the glaze detergent & acid resisting colour Pat Pend". No visible crazing or discoloration. Paint and glaze intact with good color and without scratches or erosion.

No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges. No signs of previous repair or restoration. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles.

On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. All dimensions and weights approximate.

I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition - this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
